Suzuki Grand Vitara 4×4, about twenty years old.

We bought it for simple, practical jobs: muddy local tracks, hauling a trailer to the garden and getting through winters when the electric car struggled. After we rebuilt the 4WD compressor, the suspension and the brakes and put on new tyres, it simply kept going, from frozen passes in Romania to Slovenia in spring.

In the end we replaced it and the Opel Vivaro with one vehicle that does a bit of both. Our goodbye is in this post.
