Bieszczady

The May long weekend drew us back into Bieszczady — a place where spring feels raw and alive, and every ridge seems to welcome you home.

We kicked things off with a day of 4×4 off‑road driving, following a rugged route from oponeo.pl. Mud, stones, steep climbs, and narrow forest passages turned the day into a proper adventure. The car handled it all with confidence, and we felt like we were exploring the wildest corners of the mountains.

The next morning we set out for Tarnica, the highest peak of Bieszczady. The ascent was crisp and energizing, and the summit rewarded us with sweeping panoramas — rolling ridges, distant blue horizons, and that unmistakable Bieszczady wind that always carries a sense of freedom.

On our final day, heading back home, we stopped for one more climb: Holica. A quieter, more intimate peak, wrapped in fresh spring greenery. The trail offered peaceful forest paths and a ridge that felt like a farewell gesture from the mountains.

The drive out of Bieszczady took us through Przemyśl, with its charming hills and old-town atmosphere — a gentle transition from mountain wilderness back into everyday life.

It was a short trip, but packed with everything we love: wild terrain, high peaks, twisting roads, and the calm of evenings. Another Bieszczady escape that left us wanting more.
