Geiranger Skywalk
This was, without a doubt, the best part of the trip—a breathtaking drive through Norway’s most stunning landscapes. The road twisted and climbed, demanding full focus to avoid overheating the engine on the way up and keeping the brakes steady on the way down. Every turn revealed another jaw-dropping view, making the challenge absolutely worth it.
At the summit of Dalsnibba, standing at an impressive 1,500 meters above sea level, the reward was more than just the scenery. Compared to Geiranger, which sits at around 15 meters above sea level, the climb was truly dramatic—rising nearly 1,485 meters in elevation in less then hour! The panoramic views from the top stretched endlessly, revealing the deep blue waters of the fjord far below and the rugged peaks surrounding us.
And then, the perfect finishing touch—a classic cinnamon bun, warm and perfectly spiced, making the moment even sweeter. Sitting there, surrounded by towering peaks and endless horizons, it felt like the perfect way to celebrate the journey so far.
This stop was a mix of adrenaline, beauty, and pure joy—an experience that will stay with us forever.
