Our journey led us to the charming Glittersjå Fjellgård, a mountain farm nestled in the breathtaking Murudalen valley. Surrounded by towering peaks and lush greenery, this farm offered a truly immersive experience with nature. We had the chance to meet and feed a variety of animals, including majestic elks, playful ponies, and friendly goats. The highlight was the guided tour, where we learned about the farm’s history and its deep connection to Norwegian traditions.

After exploring the farm, we continued to Lillehammer Camping, a peaceful retreat located on the banks of Lake Mjøsa, Norway’s largest lake. The campsite provided a perfect setting to unwind, with stunning waterfront views and a private beach for swimming. As the sun set over the lake, we reflected on the incredible experiences of the day, appreciating the balance between adventure and relaxation.

This part of the trip was a perfect blend of wildlife encounters, scenic landscapes, and peaceful moments by the water—an unforgettable stop on our Scandinavian journey.
