Two capital cities

We continued our journey through the north, arriving in Tallinn where we explored one of the city’s most captivating attractions—the Maritime Museum. The experience was more than just a walk among artifacts; it featured a real submarine, hands-on exhibits, and interactive displays that brought the mysteries of the ocean vividly to life. Every room offered new perspectives on seafaring, making it a highlight of our visit.

Before leaving Tallinn, we also paid a visit to the city’s TV tower, an impressive structure that gave us sweeping views and a moment to pause above the rooftops, taking in both the cityscape and the surrounding countryside.

With Tallinn’s skyline fading into the distance, we boarded a ferry across the Baltic Sea and headed toward our next destination—Helsinki. The journey itself was smooth and scenic, carrying us closer to Finland’s lively capital.

After a restful night in Helsinki Camping, we spent the following day wandering through the city’s vibrant streets, taking in its clean architecture, waterside charm, and cozy urban character. Cafés, open squares, and harborside views made for an easy pace, inviting quiet appreciation and reflection.

This chapter of the trip was shaped by knowledge and elegance—from the immersive storytelling of the Tallinn maritime museum to the understated beauty of Helsinki’s public spaces. It was a passage through two capitals that balanced excitement with calm exploration.
