Bieszczady

Our journey to the Bieszczady Mountains is a return to a place we visited a year ago with my younger son. Once again, we pack the campervan and set off southeast to rediscover the wild, picturesque landscapes.

The first night is spent at Zielona Polana Camping, where we enjoy a cozy campfire, a simple yet delicious breakfast, and admire a fascinating nearby bridge that adds to the charm of the site.

In the morning, we head to the Bieszczadzka Forest Railway, embarking on a nostalgic train ride through wooded hills. This historic narrow-gauge railway is a true time machine, taking us through breathtaking scenery.

Later, we visit the Bieszczady National Park Nature Museum, deepening our understanding of the unique ecosystem that makes this region so special. After exploring the museum, we hike scenic trails, immersing ourselves in the tranquility and beauty of nature.

As evening falls, we attend a concert by Aldaron, an experience that perfectly matches the mystical aura of the Bieszczady. Music surrounded by the mountains creates an unforgettable atmosphere.

The next day, we continue our journey to Tramp Camping, where we had wonderful memories from our previous trip. This time, we come back to participate in the Magical Bieszczady Festival, filled with music, art, and incredible encounters with fellow enthusiasts of this beautiful region.

This trip is not just about revisiting old memories but creating new ones in places that grow closer to our hearts each year. The Bieszczady Mountains welcome us once again with their serenity, magic, and wildness.
